Honoring the Forty Through Art

Commemoration Ceremony
Family members read the names on the Memorial plaza. The ceremony is private; the public can watch it live, and the plaza reopens to visitors that afternoon.

Morning Observance
The names of the Flight 93 passengers and crew are read at the Wall of Names, with the Bells of Remembrance.

Pentagon Observance
A wreath is laid at the impact wall and the 184 names are read, at the minute the building was struck. Largely by invitation; the grounds reopen to visitors afterwards.
