Plan your 9/11 National Memorial Trail trip

Build a start, end, and stops in between. The route updates as you go — when you’re ready you’ll be able to download a GPX file or save your plan by email.

How it works
  • Search for a stop by name — memorials, trail towns, parks, and points of interest along the trail are all pickable.
  • We snap each stop to the nearest trail segment when possible. Stops that fall outside the trail corridor are marked “off-trail” and connected by a dashed line you should treat as approximate.
  • Walking and biking follow the same trail route — only the estimated time differs (bikes are faster).
  • Driving isn’t routed on the trail — it opens turn-by-turn directions between your stops in Google Maps.
