Path of the Flood Trail Expansion
Trail Development
The September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance, in partnership with the Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority, has been awarded funding through the Federal Lands Access Program to support the design and engineering of a new segment of the Path of the Flood Trail in Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
The grant will fund approximately 0.8 miles of design and engineering to extend the Trail from its current terminus near South Fork Borough to Ehrenfeld Park in Ehrenfeld Borough. Once constructed, this project will expand public access, strengthen regional connectivity, and add nearly another mile of trail within Cambria County.
This investment represents an important step forward in enhancing local trail infrastructure and improving connections along the 9/11 National Memorial Trail network.
