Brothers Reflect on September 11 and the Trail’s Enduring Mission

Retired Col. Robert Dannemiller, a survivor of the attack on the Pentagon, and his brother, Mike Dannemiller, a member of the September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance Advisory Board, recently joined Good Morning Washington on WJLA-TV to reflect on the lasting impact of September 11, 2001, as the country marks the 25th anniversary.
During the conversation, Robert shares his memories from the morning of the attack, what surviving the Pentagon has meant to him, and how the experience reshaped his outlook on life. Mike also reflects on where he was that day, the impact on their family, and the mission behind the 1,500+ mile 9/11 National Memorial Trail.
