Board Chair Matt Harris Attends Preview of New 25th Anniversary Exhibit
Alliance Board Chair Matt Harris attended a private unveiling of In Their Honor: 25 Years of 9/11-Inspired Service, a new exhibition at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
On September 8, September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance Board Chair, Matt Harris, attended a private evening at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City for the unveiling of its new 25th anniversary exhibition, In Their Honor: 25 Years of 9/11-Inspired Service.
The exhibition explores the enduring impact of the countless acts of service inspired by September 11, 2001. Through personal stories and meaningful artifacts, it highlights individuals and organizations that turned grief into action, pursued lives of service and extended compassion to communities across the country and around the world.
During the evening, Harris joined members of the 9/11 community, including fellow Alliance Board Member Tim Brown, a retired FDNY firefighter and 9/11 survivor, to experience the exhibition ahead of its public opening.
In Their Honor: 25 Years of 9/11-Inspired Service opens to the public on September 12 and will remain on view through January 2030. Learn more about the exhibition and plan a visit. (opens in new window)
