2025 Tour de Trail: NYC

The September 11th National Memorial Trail is thrilled to host its inaugural Tour de Trail: NYC, which will take place on Friday, August 15, 2025, offering a meaningful and scenic 32-mile ride that symbolizes unity, remembrance, and resilience. Beginning at Liberty State Park in New Jersey, the route provides some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline before crossing the iconic George Washington Bridge and concluding at the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan. Along the way, cyclists will pass key landmarks that reflect the spirit and strength of New York City. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum and join fellow riders for a group lunch at O’Hara’s Restaurant and Pub, a historic establishment known for its deep ties to the first responder community and role in the post-9/11 recovery. The experience concludes with a return ferry ride, offering a peaceful moment of reflection and panoramic views of the city. All proceeds from the ride will support the Alliance's efforts to create and maintain a 1,500-mile, multi-use trail connecting the three locations impacted by the events of 9/11.
