Deborah Borza

The Mother of Deora Frances Bodley, youngest female passenger on board Flight 93, Deborah is past Treasurer of the Families of Flight 93, past Vice President and current Board Member of the Friends of Flight 93. Both of these organizations currently participate in the completion of the Flight 93 National Memorial. She moved from San Diego CA to Annapolis MD to be able to attend meetings with government officials asking for funds provided from the Flight 93 Memorial Act for the Flight 93 Nation Memorial.

Deborah Borza retired in 2006 from Copley Press where she was a Help Desk Analyst for 28 years.

While in San Diego she raised 2 daughters, Deora and Murial. She participated in transformational work where she attended Seminars and Programs on Leadership, Communication and other areas of personal growth and development.

She picked up her love of cycling after 30 years and participated with the September 11th Trail Alliance in a scouting expedition for a trail from the Flight 93 National Memorial to Rockwood PA. It was then that she was asked if she would be interested in being a part of the Alliance. She said YES!
