Brad Clemenson


Brad Clemenson is the coordinator of Lift Johnstown, an informal coalition that promotes community collaboration and volunteerism, and is coordinator of the Stonycreek- Quemahoning Initiative, which develops and promotes recreation in the biggest watershed feeding into Johnstown, PA.

Clemenson also develops and supports sustainable community and recreation development as a board member of Conemaugh Valley Conservancy, the Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority, the Steeples Project and Johnstown Area Heritage Association, as well as the September 11 National Memorial Trail Alliance. He previously served on the boards of Pennsylvania Environmental Council, Pennsylvania Organization for Watersheds and Rivers, and the Allegheny Trail Alliance.

Until recently, he worked for Pennsylvania Environmental Council as a leader of the Laurel Highlands Conservation Landscape, supporting sustainable community, conservation and recreation efforts in a four-county region. He has degrees from Bucknell and American Universities, enjoys bicycling, kayaking, hiking, and has a special interest in the region’s history. He is married and has a daughter.
