2026–25th Anniversary–Grand Prix
In honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance invites you to participate in the 25th Anniversary Grand Prix – a year-long series of 25 events along the 9/11 National Memorial Trail. The Grand Prix is a unique opportunity to engage with the 9/11 Trail through a series of cycling events. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just beginning, this event series allows you to explore different parts of the trail while accumulating miles, earning awards, and honoring the memory of those affected by 9/11.

Six Pillars Century–May 2, 2026
Cycle the scenic backroads of picturesque Blackwater Wildlife Refuge in Dorchester County on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Choose between 37, 56 or 100 mile routes. In 2026, this event will mark its 19th anniversary. It starts at the Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh along the shores of the scenic Choptank River in Cambridge, MD. |
Lewisburg Spring Bike Weekend–May 15-17, 2026
Join the Lewisburg Spring Bike Weekend for scenic routes with a wide range of distances, from 15 to 80+ miles. Group rides with leaders, meals, parties, it doesn't get better than that. Friday and Saturday nights at the plush Best Western+ of Lewisburg. |
Chestertown Weekend–May 22-24, 2026
Join the Baltimore Bicycle Club for some great cycling on the low traffic, quiet roads of Kent County on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This 42nd Annual cycling weekend consists of several route choices and is held in historic Chestertown, MD. Lodging is located at Washington College. Live music is provided both Friday & Saturday night and all meals are included. |
Rodale Park 12 Hour Cycling Challenge–May 30, 2026
Enjoy quiet, safe riding with the Lehigh Valley Bicycle Club and the Lehigh County Parks & Recreation on a 2-mile long – 20’ wide paved path running through the incredible landscape in this park. To make this event unique, it includes options to ride on the Valley Preferred Cycling Velodrome across the street from Rodale Park. Ride one lap or try for 100 laps during this event near Trexlertown, PA |
Tour de Belt–Jun 7, 2026
This 20 mile ride along the Capital Area Greenbelt provides an exciting way to see Harrisburg, PA and the surrounding areas. The ride starts at the Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) and completes a loop on the Greenbelt Trail. This ride Helps CAGA preserve, maintain and enhance the entire Greenbelt trail system. |
9/11 National Memorial Trail Bike Tour–June 10-Jul 8, 2026
This 27-day – 1,250-mile bike tour connects the three crash sites from the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001. Starting at the Pentagon Memorial in Washington, DC it heads west to Shanksville, PA to visit the Flight 93 Memorial before heading East across PA to NYC and the Ground Zero Memorial. It then returns to the Pentagon Memorial. It is a life altering event for all those who complete it. |
Summer Century Ride–Jul 11, 2026
Organized by Suburban Cycling Unlimited (SCU), this ride starts at the Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA. Four scenic routes of 31, 50, 62, and 100 miles are offered that take you through scenic Bucks County, PA, and the horse country of Hunterdon County, NJ |

Come join the Huntington Bicycle Club on a choice of rides from 12, 25, 45, 66, and 100 miles. This Long Island, NY premier cycling event explores Suffolk County’s North Shore, provides scenic views, and visits many charming historic villages |
Spellbound Century–Jul 25, 2026
Entering its 11th year, this event starts at Mount Holly, NJ and rides past local horse farms and historic towns on mostly flat roads with a few challenging hills. It is South Jersey’s largest Summer Cycling Event and is organized by the TNT Bicycle Club. |
NJ 50 9/11 Memorials Bike Tour–Aug 6-11, 2026
Join this six-day bike tour starting and finishing in Elizabeth, NJ, and explore all 50 small-town 9/11 Memorials honoring the residents they lost on 9/11/2001. Each day, the bike tour will travel through surburban North East New Jersey to experience the incredible monuments and meaningful memories of the heroes each community lost that day. |
Ramapo Rally–Aug 16, 2026
Staged by the Bike Touring Club of North Jersey (BTCNJ), this event offers a full slate of cycling rides 12, 25, 50, 62, 100 and 125 miles in length. Starting in Mahwah, NJ, the rides showcase the best that scenic North Jersey has to offer. Challenging elevation comes with an excellent meet at the finish. |
Covered Bridge Century–Aug 16, 2026
Entering its 47th year, this ride is a premier Pennsylvania cycling event offering beautiful routes of 35, 50, 65, and 100 miles in Lancaster, PA. Organized by the Lancaster Bicycle Club, these rides traverse through covered bridges and past Amish farms. The terrain is rolling with moderate climbing. |
Brandywine Century–Aug 23, 2026
This highly acclaimed event is organized by the Delaware Valley Bicycle Club and is celebrating its 50th year in 2026. The tour features covered bridges, picturesque villages, and amazing vistas. Enjoy any of the 5 gorgeous routes of 18, 35, 50, 66, and 100 miles. Each route provides low-traffic roads through rolling Chester County, DE. |
Tour de Trail: Flight 93–Sep 5, 2026
8th Annual 24-mile bike ride starting in Berlin, PA, and riding to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA, and then back. It is organized by the September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance and includes an NPS ranger program to tell “The story of Flight 93”. |
Civil War Century–Sep 5, 2026
This event is one of the Baltimore Bicycling Club’s premier events. It limits participation to 1,600 riders and offers cycling routes of 25, 50, 64, 75 and 100 miles. These routes traverse some of the most beautiful countryside East of the Mississippi River. Starting in Thurmont, MD, these routes visit Gettysburg & Antietam Battlefields among other famous Civil War sites. |
Donut Derby–Sep 7, 2026
This unique Lehigh Valley Cycling Club event is a 36-mile fun ride with a twist. It awards you a 3-minute deduction for every donut you eat at rest stops along the way. The Donut Derby starts at the Valley Preferred Cycling Velodrome near Trexlertown, PA , and also has a limit on participation–sign up early. |
Escape New York–Sep 12, 2026
Starting in Manhattan, NY, the New York Cycling Club event shows cyclists the beautiful routes available when you escape the confines of the big city and explore the counties around it. With routes from 25 to 125 miles, this ride offers opportunities for all levels of cyclists. |
Seacoast Century–Sep 19, 2026
In its 52nd year, this ride, organized by the Granite State Wheelers, starts at Hampton Beach State Park in New Hampshire. There are four routes of 25,50,65 and 100 miles that share scenic small towns, beach front communities, and great ocean views of the New England coast. There is a participation limit–sign up early. |
Three Creeks Century–Sep 20, 2026
Join the Harrisburg Bicycle Club (HBC) for its annual ride beginning in Newville, PA. It is known for its friendly volunteers, beautiful routes, and great food, including homemade soup and cookies. There are three routes of 20, 32, and 51 miles that can be combined to create a century ride. |
Cannonball Century–Sep 26, 2026
The Fredericksburg Cyclists Club offers its premier event at Massaponax High School just South of Fredericksburg, VA. Three routes of 32, 65, and 100 miles travel through the quiet and beautiful roads of Spotsylvania & Caroline Counties. Don’t miss the homemade spaghetti and the massage table at the finish line. |
Lifeline 100–Oct 4, 2026
This award-winning Anne Arundel County bike ride offers 15,30, 65, and 100 mile routes and is in its 12th year. What began as a way to showcase Anne Arundel County’s scenic trails and roadways while spotlighting cycling awareness, safety and its benefits, has grown every year and draws cyclists from all over the Mid-Atlantic region. |
Covered Bridges Ride–Oct 10, 2026
The Central Bucks County Bike Club celebrates the 45th anniversary of their event in 2026. It is considered a crown jewel of the regional recreation cycling calendar. Beginning at Tinicum Park, along the banks of the Delaware River, this event offers 20, 30, 35, 55, and 65-mile routes that visit up to six historic covered bridges. H4H Big Bike Challenge–Nov 9, 2026
The Hearts for our Hospital event is organized by the Sumter Landing Bicycle Club that work in close partnership with the UF Health Hospital Auxilary Foundation. Centered in The Villages, FL, it is the final event of the Grand Prix Challenge and offers routes of 10, 20, 32, 64, and 100 miles through a very flat environment that is great for cycling. |
Washington County Getaway–Oct 16-18, 2026
Join the Baltimore Bicycling Club in Washington County during the colorful autumn season and experience Maryland’s stunning mountains, dramatic valley views, beautiful farmlands, and quaint stone bridges. All rides start at the Washington County Regional Park in Hagerstown, PA. |
Harrisburg/Gettysburg Adventure–Oct 21-27, 2026
A six-day bike tour that starts in downtown Harrisburg and spends two days getting to Gettysburg. There it spends the weekend exploring several different routes through and around the Battlefields before biking back to Harrisburg the last two days. The trip down and back follow the September 11th National Memorial Trail route. |
