United States Senate and House of Representatives Supporting the
September 11th National Memorial
Washington DC. — The September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance received a major boost from both the United States Senate and House of Representatives in support of the September 11 th National Memorial Trail, a 1,300-mile network of bicycle and pedestrian trails linking New York City’s National September 11Memorial and Museum, the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, VA, and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, PA.
The Senate Resolution #267 has been championed by Senator Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania and Senator Mark Warner of Virginia.
A Congressional Resolution #384 has been championed by Congressman Jerry Connolly of Virginia’s 11th district (for himself, Mr. King of New York, Mr. Khanna of California’s 17th District, Mr. Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania’s 1st District, Mr. Cartwright of Pennsylvania’s 8th district, and Mr. Beyer of Virginia’s 8th district) submitted the Congressional resolution #384.
